About Wilson Football

The Wilson Bulldogs began play in the fall of 1945. We are a member of the Lancaster-Lebanon League (Section 1) and part of the PIAAs District 3. To date we've amassed 560 wins (and counting!) in 801 games, a winning percentage of ~70%. The 2019 season will be our 75th regular season. Of those accrued seasons, we have been perfect 12 times (1967, 1969, 1978, 1981, 1989, 1995, 1999, 2002, 2008, 2010, 2013, 2014). The team is a model program for success, not having a losing season since 1963, a streak of 55 years (and counting!). "The Streak" of non-losing seasons began in 1964, the first year the squad was coached by the legendary John Gurski, the namesake for our home field in West Lawn, PA. In 74 seasons, the Bulldogs have won 31 League & 7 District Titles.
